Be the Change LIB is a results-driven and informal cohort of diverse Liberians and descendants of Liberians who are committed to deepening their impact as change agents.

How We Move

We find and connect with change agents who get it.

• Those who understand that small investments can have big impact...if made collectively.  
• Those who see change agents in Liberia, including those needing the most supports, as competent and respected peers. 
• Those who believe in the 10 principles below. 

What We Believe

1. We believe that we can make a difference as individuals; but we are most effective and impactful as a collective.
2. Each of us have expertise and resources to contribute.
3. We will focus more on the demonstrated strengths of the Liberian people and less on the flaws of the few.
4. Decision-making will be efficient and inclusive. Decision-making window will open and close. We will strive for consensus when making final decisions, if not, majority rule. A quorum is not needed for final decisions. 
5. We embrace challenges as learning opportunities.
6. We respect confidentiality.
7. We hold ourselves and each other accountable for meeting commitments. 
8. We are not a political entity.
9. Change agents within proximity to the target population must be given space to lead implementation.
10. Change agents outside the proximity of the target population should be given space to inform and support implementation. Change agents outside the proximity of the target population can also offer their time and expertise to co-lead implementation.
